Spider-Man is a popular superhero in America's comics. Spider-Man is really Benjamin Parker. As a high school science student, Parker was bitten by a radioactive spider, which gave him superhero powers.
As Spider-Man, Parker has superhuman strength, can climb up walls, and has the ability to sense danger. He disguises himself in a costume decorated like a spider in a spider's web. "Web shooters" attached to his wrists fire a shear-thinning web like substance that sticks to anything. He uses his web to navigate through New York. He has many villians that he battles ,but he does not win every battle he fights. The reason he is so liked by average Americans is he is easy to relate to because he is not rich he tries to get by regular life and has to fight crime as his alter-ego.
